Everybody listens to techno “is an audiovisual installation by Matteo Castiglioni, created for a site specific room of the “Arco della pace - Casello ponente” in Milan for the electronic music festival “Electropark / Exchanges”.
The installation, through the use of an experimental narration, explores the identity of a non-character.
The work combines the interest in the use of comedy and satire in commenting on contemporary culture. The narration, conceived as a single flow of events, is divided into different parts linked to each other by the continuous research of the character, some parts have a surrealist nature, then there are references to popular culture but also to archeology or Dada.
